Highly experienced with corporate managerial skills overseeing business negotiations, product design and installation, staff management, sales and product training with focus on new products, market entry and business development. Excels at strategic sales planning and creating sales business strategies to develop new customer sales with focus on new product launching. Background inAccounts, Project and Technical Process Management as well as experience within the marine industry represent a unique combination of disciplines.

Maxwell Tyers
Director, MAiD IP Holdings Pty Ltd

An entrepreneur, inventor and developer with a strong mechanical background and over 40 years of experience in corporate, marketing, sales and leadership roles. Held executive general management positions in the USA and Australia, controlling marketing, accounting, administration, and services divisions. Has a commercially (US$100m+ revenues per annum) successful record of accomplishment in the USA. Instrumental in the successful formation of several automotive Dealerships, both in Australia and the USA with most expertise prior to joining Lexus USA being the formation of new or newly acquired companies. Each company was established with efficient corporate structures and strong marketing principles resulting in very successful enterprises. Led the performance, testing and design of FRP marine vessels as a driver of competitive marine power boat racing and acquired extensive knowledge in Marine Industry Fiber Glass Reinforced Plastic Technologies and vessel design.

Scott Robinson
Non-Executive Director, MAiD IP Holdings Pty Ltd

President and founder of Paragon Motor Yachts, spent over 25 years as a yacht captain, overseeing the design and build of high-end yachts 86 to 102 feet, commissioning, customizing and delivering private motor yachts to locations throughout the world. As a build captain with substantial knowledge of the overall marine industry, Scott assembled a group of trusted naval architects, engineers and designers, and in 2001 built a completely new ISO 9001-Certified facility in Kaohsiung, Taiwan with his comprehensive knowledge of designing and developing projects to required client specifications. Previously founded Santosha Marine Services in Newport Beach California, servicing new yachts for distributors such as Baltic yachts, Nordic yachts, Valliant Yachts, Lafitte yachts, Esprit yachts, Aphrodite yachts, Ron Holland Performance Cruisers, Tiara yachts, Formula Yachts, Cigarette Boats, Pursuit Yachts, Offshore yachts, and Apreamare yachts. Services included every aspect of installing systems and owner options some of which were, rigging, installing navigation electronics, cold plate refrigeration systems, stabilization and thruster systems.

Viatcheslav Tretyakov
Product Engineering Manager, MAiD IP Holdings Pty Ltd

A highly experienced, self-motivated autonomous systems and robotics engineer. Previous experience includes managing corporate engineering teams, technical product management, lead researcher, C/C++ software developer for mobile robotics, robotic software architecture, XC embedded software developer, and a control system integrator. Particularly interested in developing aerial robotic systems and autonomous vehicles, developing perception and navigation algorithms for such systems.

Educational Background includes Master of Science in Autonomous Systems graduating at the University of Applied Sciences Bonn-Rhein-Sieg, St. Augustin, Germany, Diploma Engineering in Automation, Self-Driving Car Engineer and qualified Electrician. Previous Engineering Positions include Engineering Manager, Technical Product Manager, Lead Application Engineer, Electronics Engineer and Electrical Engineer.

Captain David Copleston
Corporate Advisor, MAiD IP Holdings Pty Ltd

Highly accomplished commercial and recreational vessel Captain for 23 years with extensive experience operating a broad range of vessels in the Oil and Gas industry, Tugboat industry and US Naval vessel operation. A motor yacht broker and qualified professional with skills in machining, carpentry, CAD design, electrical, mechanical engineering, FRP repair, CNC software programming creating program codes for computer-controlled machinery. Directed extensive refits on recreational vessels and managed new construction to client specifications for recreational vessel projects through to completion, working with manufacturers on creative approaches to warranty issues. Previously employed as a Captain of commercial supply vessel for the oil fields in the Gulf of Mexico, a civilian Captain for US Navy tugs responsible for docking and undocking of United States Navy Mine sweepers and relief captain and relief engineer on a fleet of harbor tugs while working as full-time deck hand on tug “Robert Turecamo” managing docking and undocking of ships in the Charleston Harbor. Named Captain of the Year 2007 by “In The Bite” Professional Sportfishing Magazine.

MAID selected and works closely with Velodyne LiDAR, Inc., a Silicon Valley based USA technology company known worldwide as the leader in real-time 3D LiDAR computing and software platforms.

The relationship expands Velodyne’s presence in marine applications and Velodyne’s experience in a variety of commercial applications, including autonomous vehicles, will be of great benefit to MAID. Velodyne will assist MAID with technical and software support for the MAID System technology.


MAID receives high level technical and software support from Side-Power to assist with thruster integration and the MAID technology. MAID ensure strong intelligent interfacing with Side-Power thruster systems through their S-Link CanBus interface, enabling the availability of the large product range of proportional DC electric, hydraulic or AC electric thrusters for vessels from 25’ to 160’.
